Privacy Watch detects emails, phone numbers, credit cards, bank accounts (IBAN), social security numbers, IP addresses, postal addresses, and personal names. We use advanced pattern matching and validation algorithms to minimize false positives.

Privacy Watch requests minimal permissions: (1) Storage - to save your on/off preference, and (2) Access to ChatGPT/Claude sites - to analyze text before you send it. We request only what's absolutely necessary for the extension to function.
Currently, Privacy Watch is only available as a Chrome extension for desktop browsers. Mobile support is being considered for future releases, but Chrome for mobile doesn't support extensions yet.
